Michael Lemmon Expert Professor of Finance and Wasatch Advisors Professor, University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business

Dr. Lemmon is the Wasatch Advisors Professor of Finance and a financial economist at the University of Utah.

Dr. Lemmon's area of specialty is in Finance and includes evaluation issues, opinions, managerial compensation, and insider trading. Professor Lemmon has published over 10 professional papers in the last five years, made multiple presentations, and received several awards for his work, including the Best Corporate Finance Paper Award from the Western Finance Association in 2000, and several fellowships. He is the co-author of the Handbook of Business Valuation, Second Edition. Professor Lemmon also has provided litigation support as an expert witness in cases involving complex financial issues.

Dr. Lemmon received a Ph.D in finance from the University of Utah in 1995, as well as an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Utah in 1987.
